I haven't posted here before tonight, but for what it's worth, just thought
I'd mention something I saw this evening at 17.15 GMT.

Something fell from the night sky like a shooting star. However, it wasn't:

a) as fast as the normal shooting starts I have seen or

b) as far away

It was a larger slower moving source of light moving across the sky in a
westerly direction at an angle of 30-40 degrees and it hit the ground I
would say withing 20 miles of where I was (4 miles south of Driffield, East
Yorkshire).

I would welcome any feedback.
