The thing has internal air chambers made out of disposable drinking
cups in it to cut down on the amount of resin needed.
Absolute knockout when finished (and surprisingly easy to build), but
pure hell to mask the third stage for painting in its two-tone scheme
due to all the protuberances.
The photoetched parts are done in heavy gauge brass, and it's very
structurally sound when finished.
Mine came with a transparent lucite block base, and attached to that
weighs around four pounds!
