The yellow tube ones reminded me of microorganisms moving around on
their cilia.
The whole concept of the yellow tube ones somewhat resembles the Pedrail
propulsion systems that were the predecessors of true tracked vehicles,
and figured prominently in H.G. Wells' story "The Land Ironclads".
