My reading comprehension is just fine - it's you (no offense) who seem
to not have completed all the related reading.
but what seems lost is sharper views of these same scenes.

That was in the paper published by one of the Parkes staff - which I
read a month or more ago.
Of course, since the tapes *haven't* been found, we can't show you --
other than with the Polaroids -- how much sharper the originals were.
And after October, we can't play them back, even if we find them.
