I'm looking for a cool astronomy program, something like SkyMap Pro for
Windows. I did use to have the student edition of The Sky but that was
a Classic app and tended to run pretty slow. I like Xephem but to run
it I need X11 and it doesn't look the prettiest, even though feature
wise its pretty awesome.

I use Starry Night, which is about as good as they come for
prettiness. I also use EquinoX, but you can hardly call that pretty,
though it is very useful.
