Default They Mysteries of FocusMax (FMx) and RoboFocus (RF) with an ST-7E

Here are few questions about the use of FMx and RF (Robofocus).
FMX:
1. What is Simulator mode? It doesn't really seem to simulate anything, but
starts a search for the focus point--I think.
2. Why the dip in the middle of the HFD curve? SCT obstruction?
3. What are the red and blue circles?
4. It seems like my profiles disappear when either I return the next night,
or perhaps if I do more than one "First Light". Is FL a one time only operation?
5. I belive the ST-7E's lowest shutter speed is 0.2 but I see FMx tries to
shoot at 0.110 sometimes. Sounds like a problem?

RF:
1. If I do a modest focus movement, 20-40 microsteps, I can see that the
image has shifted in the CCD image. What's up? Mirror shift? That would seem
a bit too sensitive, since I'm generally shooting high in elevation.
2. Does one need to calibrate (Full Manual Calibrate) each night?
