The deficit has nothing to do with the National Income resulting from tax
revenue. The economy expands so as a percentage of that expansion government
revenue expands too.

increase... if spending increases faster than income.




Which is not a sustainable situation..

Hence the need to either cut spending or increase income in line
with the inceased spending. Preferably both.
