Really enjoyed your write-up and photos. Especially the panorama shot! I know
almost exactly where you were as i recognize the radio towers on the top of
Chuckwalla mtn and the electrical substation framework. I sometimes observe
from a spot just a little bit east of where you were. I was thinking to go
out that way myself last weekend but i thought it would be too cloudy.
Seems you guys did just fine!


Thanks Florian! That was quite a picturesque sky two weekends ago. I
was just as surprised that it cleared off as nicely.
