Why? Those waters are navigable at that time of year, and my
understanding is that eclipse cruises are commercial successes. It
doesn't have to be a huge ship, after all. And plenty of people enjoy
arctic cruising, even without an eclipse. I wouldn't be surprised to
find some eclipse cruises scheduled- it is the easiest access to the
area.



I agree to a point. There is a LOT of sea area in the whole path of the
eclipse right into Russia
