I don't know why you don't get diverted to ?output=html in NS.

It looks like the Google Mars people forgot to consider that people
might have no Javascript. Without Javascript it just displays the header
and says "Loading Mars Maps...".

It looks like you have some other things going on, but without
Javascript you're not going to be able to get much further.
