I see that Google have now added an interactive map of Mars

So now there's the Earth, Mars and Moon (http://moon.google.com/)

Does anyone fancy collaborating on producing the equivalent for other
bodies? We might be able to beat Google to Mercury or Europa or
something.

So that leaves two main jobs:

Finding high resolution public domain images that can be cut up to make
the map tiles. So far I've only found suitable PD maps for places that
Google have already been.

Providing webhosting. I'm pretty close to my webspace and bandwidth
limits on all my current webhosts, and maps like this require quite a
bit of both.
