Launchpadding one's resume
On 8 Feb 2006 07:19:24 -0800, in a place far, far away,
made the phosphor on my monitor glow in such
a way as to indicate that:

The Big Bang wasn't a theory when it was the sound of the door slamming
behind his ass.

I saw that on NASAwatch. While I don't have a problem with a chap not
having a college degree, I do have a big problem with a 24 year old
appointee being the chief PAO at NASA. I think back to when I was 24,
there was no way I could handle that kind of responsibility.
I also have a problem with someone lying about his resume, as,
apparently, did NASA.
I think this really shows how important space exploration is to the
politicians. I really don't believe that this is something peculiar to
the Bush administration. What a freekin' mess!
Agreed. This was worse than the FEMA appointment, in terms of the gap
between the job responsibilities and the qualifications, but it was
far less consequential, since space isn't important.
