Oh, come on now, standard news criteria, show something live if you can.

The Mars rovers are a bit like the old robots we used to build at school,
where you would input commands, then wait and see if what you expected,
happens.

I'm sure that plenty of trumpet sounding will occurr when a significant
discovery is made.

Besides, if you were being nice to the Russians to keep them sweet, as you
need their help, it always helps to show their prowess in space....:-)
