I could see it flying out of the water, but as you say, that dive back
into the water looked like it would kinda' severe.
The thing also lacked any control surfaces (airelons, rudder, flaps,
elevators) which means those nuclear jet engines must have had some
pretty impressive vectoring capabilities.
