Hi all,

I'm thinking about getting my first telescope and have seen lots of good
press on the net for the Skywatcher Explorer 130m as a reasonable beginners
telescope.

However, as I've never used one before, ideally I'd like to visit somewhere
where I can see one in action and get some more detailed advice etc before
shelling out £150-£200.

Does anyone know anywhere in the Derby/Staffordshire area where I could
perhaps see one of these before buying - I've had a quick look on Yell.com
but haven't been able to identify any shops locally that might stock this or
similar?

Any other advice or ideas for a newbie welcomed too.
