To me, it seems quite a cooincidence that the moon rotates perfectly
such that we see the same side constantly.

The ever so elusive Aliens who reside on the "Dark Side of the Moon"
(still
the best album, ever) synchronized the moon so that we only see one side.

To this day I am always impressed that Pink Floyd could have such a strong
impact the astronomy community.
