brought it home in the back of my little Honda CRX. Optics were good, but
the rocker box, focuser, etc. left lots to be desired compared to today's
mass-produced Dobs. I sold it and now have a 10" OPT (GS) dob which is
much more refined mechanically. But I use it so little that I will likely
sell it, too; the skies here do not support it and I tend to travel with
my smaller scopes and/or big binos; guess I have "anti-aperture" fever (or
maybe just "lazy fever") :-)
