Be sure that your back can handle the G11 before you buy it. I use a GM8
with my C9.25 because the G11 is just to damn heavy.

The EQ mount will do it all visually. If you want to stick a Digital
SLR in that 9.25" scope some day, I think you'll find it easier with
the EQ mount. No field rotation issues, some periodic error, but
managable. There are worse choices at any rate.
I tossed my synta mount and upgraded to Losmandy GM8. Now I want to
upgrade to AP. ;-)
