Hi greysky,and Double-A Biggest lobster my diving club came up with
weight 18lb Biggest that I ever saw weighed 25lb Lobsters use their
tails and move very fast going backward.(make about a 15 foot jump.)
That is when you find them on a sandy bottom.(best place to pick them
up) They love chicken bones,and that makes a good bait in trapes
The warmer ocean water is driving them out into deeper waters. Could
make them lay there eggs to early? Most lobster traps are just a few
miles off shore,and that makes it nice for the fishermen in winter.
Female lobster has about 1,000 eggs under its bellies. Crawls about 400
miles(going south) to lay them in the rocks in Cape Cod. Bert
