Granite is radioactive. Not enough to sterilize you, of course,
but enough to heat the interior of the planet to the melting
point in a couple of billion years, without considering any of
the other factors. (In case you're going to say the emissions
from decaying atoms isn't heat, you're right. It's particles,
moving like little bats out of hell until they hit something, at
which time their kinetic energy is released as heat.)

I would say "nice try," but it wasn't. If you're going to post
long essays about something, look into it first.
