Default Wray refractor stolen in Chester, England

Wray refractor stolen in Chester, England
An historic refractor tube assembly was stolen froom author Richard Baum on
12 September. This is a Wray telescope, circa 1895, just the tube (black
lacquer), focuser, finder, and adjustment rods, all in a box (no optics).
The tube is unsigned but carries a plate 'Adjusted by Broadhust &
Clarkson.' The location was Whitchurch Road, Chester, not far from
Liverpool and Manchester.
