Cold Night in Rosamond
To pick up where I left off on Thursday, I got the carb changed but still
had to take the 8 mile round trip awalking to get some parts I needed.
It was not until friday afternoon I got the car running, I hope I don't
have to do anything like this soon again, and to top it off, when I did
get it going and headed towards the gas station, the gas dropped down
below 1/4 tank and that put me awalking to get a can of gas.
After sinking some $17.00 into the gas tank and getting home, I started
getting ready for taking the scope up. I was set up by 7pm. Durning the
next two hours I kept the scope aimed at the moon and giving views to the
few who would brave the cold blowing wind to take a look see. All total
about 8 people stopped.
I'll be getting my jackets out this week and airing them out and setting
up for winter, of the years I've lived here, this is the earlyest that
I've seen cool temps set in the high desert.
