Got to find them first. Of course, bodies underwater this long should
be bobbing to the surface about now. But how many are trapped in
buildings we don't know.
That is good thinking and in
view of the situation must be done now. I just hope right wing
religious ideas of a decent burial is not used. One child saved is
better than a million people buried according to the rites of their
church. Bert
They don't bury people in the ground in those parts anyway. There's
too much water under ground. They just put the casket inside a
concrete encasement and leave it above ground.

So all of those dire predictions of coffins floatin' through the French
Quarter were poorly informed ?

No, no cadet, the Officer Bert floating coffins theory is
correct because the old slave Gulf Coast plantation owners didn't know
enough or bother to bury the previous early 20th, 19th century, and
before farm workers in sealed concrete enclosures. The long dead do rise
when the ground is so flooded the gators think it's a holiday. Officer
Double-A noted what's even worst is the floating recent dead body
reports just lying about with the refusing to leave French Quarters and
Gulf Coast living. So many local police are missing and can you blame
them for some of their whole families perished. The New Orleans spooky
day and deadly nights will remain burned in the observing surviving many
memories, heaven help them and may they find peace.
carry on,
