(I know dust-devils have been known for some time, but don't miss these
new ones, they're pretty neat. BTW, I originally thought this was too
O.T. to X-post in sci.astro.seti, but then I thought perhaps the
astrobiology folks might like to see them; they might make a good spore
propagation transport mechanism, even in such a thin atmosphere. It's
like L.A. in the "The Day After Tomorrow", but on Mars :^)


Thanks for posting these links. If you want another SETI connection,
there's the opening sequence of "Mission to Mars", though that one's a
lot bigger :-)
