You should also bear in mind that provided they stick to only projecting
images onto the cloud base on cloudy nights it has almost no impact at
all on amateur astronomy. If they only use it on cloudy nights no harm
is done. You need to tread a very fine line between being caricatured in
the press as a geeky killjoy and getting your point across.

The real nuisances are the mega powerful spot light beams and lasers
that project up to the vanishing point even in a clear sky. Discos and
casinos seem to specialise in these abominations.
