This just in, thankfully Discovery waved off at KSC
due to
bad Cape weather, Earth Science Officers come predictive through
and Nasa decides with our opinion to go with clear skies
California Edwards. So what if it may cost a million bucks to
later transport Discovery back to the cape the lives of those
brave crew members are priceless.

Well they made it this time. By luck more than good engineering, had
that bit of foam hit a wing edge may well have had a different
ending.

Griffin says the shuttle is fundamentally flawed, Hale says they are
playing Russian roulette with crews lives, so that should be the
last shuttle landing. I would like to see them justify another
launch when Griffin and Hale have said what they have.

I'll second that, and thank goodness they decided on Edwards
for
the landing. Stayed up because of the rough Florida weather they tried
to get around and was concerned they would cape push it. Now I can go
back to the bat cave for some rest and hope you get some too Officer
Ray. Commander Eileen was outstanding and so was the rest of the crew.
Thanks to all the Science Officers for their great reports. Welcome
home Discovery crew.

carry on,

Yep all ended well, yes rest and sleep, MRO launch tomorrow.

I'll take that order to get some sleep now, UK station Vingnutte signing
out.
