"Megan, friend of Dolly, turns 10
A sheep believed to be the world's oldest surviving
cloned animal is to celebrate her 10th birthday
this weekend with the scientists and vets
who created her.
To the uninitiated, Megan looks like a regular animal,
albeit less fleecy than her peers, a flock of clones kept
in a barn in the Roslin Institute, near Edinburgh.
She is also a little uncertain and timid, perhaps
a legacy of once living with her fellow clone Dolly,
who was by sheep standards more extrovert
and bossy.
But Megan, who remains blissfully unaware
of her starring role ..."
