Am I using flash? probably. I say, you can never have too many Astronomy
programs on your system. And I've got loads, and whatever utilities they
need to function. Sadly... :-( now my computer thinks it's a
tortoise...sloooowly does it.

Likely one of my pop-up/pop-under/pop-out/pop-eye/ad/sad/mad/dad
blockers stopping it running.
