Nearly 6,800+ of the strap-on boosters over the
years (almost 1,700 launches), but the majority
of those out of Russia's Northern Cosmodrome.

The halfway decent condition of the booster in
this photo makes you wonder if the Korolev bureau
ever tried, at least experimentally, to recover
and reuse these things.
