Thanks for your kind remarks. My kind of comedy isn't for everyone;
there is an active thread flaming me for posting a verbatim quote from
America's pet monkey. One person even said I was "anti-American!" On
the other hand, I get a lot of e-mail through my web site
http://www.davidillig.com with kind remarks about my various
opinions. It mostly comes from people who don't want to get flamed on
Usenet. Good thing the flamers haven't seen my "Bin Laden for
President" routine, in which I point out that his penchant for
senseless violence makes him as American as apple pie -- and that he
has killed fewer people than our pet monkey (though I concede that I
don't know how many Russians Bin Laden killed back when Reagan gave him
his start in international terrorism.)

Astronomy. There I said the word which means I can now justifiably go off on
any tangent. Besides, intelligent people will *want* to read this as it is
relevant to science.

America's pet donkey was Bill Clinton. The only reason America survived this
Jackass is because it was strengthened by four years of President's Reagan
and Bush Sr. The only reason we survive now is because of Bush Jr. Good
thing people haven't seen my "Send Hillary to Iraq as a bomb" in which I
point out it would be a dumb bomb, but if they followed her on anything, it
would totally destroy them. Obviously anyone who thinks otherwise is a
complete idiot who thinks liberal media created the universe, and refuses to
think for themselves. In fact, Ronald Reagan should be immediately cleared
for sainthood for standing up to these idiots. Actually, let's move him in
as God's top executive, and put both President Bush Sr and Jr up for
immediate sainthood.

Bill Clinton killed people to distract the US populace from his perjury. He
should be taken out back and shot, along with Hillary.

These are not opinions, these are absolute facts. Anyone who thinks
differently is obviously not thinking, but instead is merely repeating the
mindless anti-American blather of left-wing conspiracy media tyrants that
want to nuke gay unborn whales for Hillary.

Gee Davoud, it's about as welcome as your blather. Just think if everyone
signed off their posts like this. We'd have to change the name of the
newsgroup maybe? It would rapidly reach the point where it wasn't worth the
time to filter through all the crap to find an occasional on-topic post.
