Thanks for your kind remarks. My kind of comedy isn't for everyone;
there is an active thread flaming me for posting a verbatim quote from
America's pet monkey. One person even said I was "anti-American!" On
the other hand, I get a lot of e-mail through my web site

opinions. It mostly comes from people who don't want to get flamed on
Usenet. Good thing the flamers haven't seen my "Bin Laden for
President" routine, in which I point out that his penchant for
senseless violence makes him as American as apple pie -- and that he
has killed fewer people than our pet monkey (though I concede that I
don't know how many Russians Bin Laden killed back when Reagan gave him
his start in international terrorism.)

Yes, I have done a bit of stand-up, but only to carefully vetted
audiences (as is the case with our pet monkey); people who hold things
sacred -- things like God, country, motherhood, marriage, sex,
liberals, conservatives, you-name-it -- are unlikely to be amused by my
rants. I do hold the truth to be sacred, but I've been known to lampoon
that, as well!

By the way, I used to vacation in Greece fairly often when I was a
world traveler. Love it! Love the people, love the food!
