I'd be very careful with IPA on good expensive multi level coatings, but as an
alternative, have you thought about Opticlean ? Look at 7 Day Shop for it, it leaves
a polymer film on the lens, then after it cured, you peel it off along with all the
crud. I used it on my scope EPs and my Strathspeys OK.
