Well so much for my hydraulic control surfaces actuators theory- that is
indeed the item based on the photo; now to figure out what caused it to
come free of the motor...did the aircraft suffer an afterburner
explosion? Did the turbine wheels disintegrate, and saw the tail off of
the plane (that's been known to happen).
