I took this on the 13th from about 01h00 to 01h15 using the Meade DSI in
FITS format. When combining the Blue Green and Red colour files I noticed
that the Red file is considerably darker in the core than the blue and green
files.
I'm into this more for the beauty than the science but am still curious. Is
the dark bit in the center of the red file indicative of the core? or some
atrifact from the imaging process?
15 FTS images of 60s each were combined (average) and converted to JPG for
the links below. I still have the FITS files.
