Is VirginGalactic.com planning to launch from inside the US?

I don't remember anything being said about this issue... but it can hardly
have escaped their notice that there are serious practical advantages to
putting the operation in an area with generally clear weather and plenty
of uncrowded airspace. That is to say, the US southwest clearly wins big
over the UK for this, and the reduction in legal hassles is not entirely
insignificant either.

According to http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/sci/tech/3693020.stm flights
would operate from Mojave initially.

I seem to remember them saying that they would launch from other
places later, but can't find a reference right now.
