The s.s.* hierarchy in general has a poor concept of topicality, this
has been a distinguish feature of the groups for a very long time.
If sci.space.tech is now an empty group with no-one posting relevant
space tech posts to it anymore, I might as well unsubscribe it from my
list.
Given that it costs nothing to leave it in your lists... I'd say that
that's nothing but childish posturing. (Especially since Agent will
simply skip over any groups that have no unread messages.)
