Many blue-green curtains observed between 4 &5 UT, some with
red flares towards the upper portions of the spikes. A friend in the
NE Texas Panhandle also described most of what I saw. Curtains seemed

I've been looking from Seattle's north end. I see pulsating streaks
running from NE to SW directly overhead. They have been visible for
the past several hours (22:30 - 01:00). I've also seen more than the
usual number of meteors.

I haven't seen Aurora so strong since the 1950's!
