No eclipse in S.Cal tonight, total WASH OUT.

Saw the start of totality at 7:23 pm local time from Carmel Ranch area, north
part of San Diego, as the low level cumulus scud drifted by. Quite dark
appearance as the moon went into totality.

I took a chance, and was glad that it paid off, despite the rain.
