Get the regular stain of the color that you like and have fun. Don't get
the gel stains as these often end up splotchy and don't have as much stain
in the container as regular stain.
I haven't tried any of the stranger water based stains so I can't comment on
them but I find the regular stain to be fairly odor free after a few
moments.
