Hi:

At least part of the software is our old friend Registax. As for the imager
itself, it is superior to the Meade LPI in that it can produce .avi files and
uses a CCD chip rather than a CMOS one. OTOH, the LPI can take long exposures,
15 seconds +, and it doesn't look like the Celestron can do that. This is a
good camera for someone who wants to shoot the planets and does not want to
assemble their own setup using a Toucam.
