The central asterism (also called the "Northern Cross") can certainly be
seen as a kite, but if you include all of the "wing" stars, then the kite
no longer works. Similar to the "teapot" in Sagittarius.
Bootes is a Kite complete with a tail to me and Sagittarius was a five
pointed star until I seen the steam coming out from the spout from a
different perspective.
Cygnus is a cross, in the city because the peripheral stars are
obliterated by light pollution.
