Default Saterday in Rosamond :<

After the guy came and hauled off the "Beast", I started getting things
ready for last night. First came the preping of the Stargazer scope,
re-doing the weights in the weights chamber and then finding and using a
very big hose clamp to fix the telrad base on.

Got my stuff in the ep case ready and during the afternoon packed the radio
flyer with what I would need. Very last thing I did before leaving was grab
a $20 bill just incase and at 5pm pulled out onto 20th St West and started
the trip.

By the time I reached the edge of main town area I had to change path and
make it to the hardware store, got some cheap super glue to glue my glass's
fram back together.

Got to the corner by 7pm and set up, had to aline the scope, that ride had
not been good for that. Then trained it on the moon after alineing telrad
too. Within a few mins a boy came over and had a look at the moon.

He was the only one to come over. At 10pm I packed up everything and headed
home, thankfully I had put a set of reflectors on the back of the flyer so
the drivers of the Rosamond 500 would see me walking along the road.

By the time I got home I was wore out and after feeding my kittys just
droped dead on the couch in the living room.

Oh, I did pick up the edition of the Recycler paper that covers out to here,
and just doing a fast scan of the ads for anything 1974 or older, yeps! I
see cars that back in those days where not liked very well at all, and now
they are selling for $1,000 or more, and I figured gas hogs would be selling
cheap, HAHAHA, anything but! Hay I did see a VW bug down in the SFV area,
only $800.00 for it, NO PAPERS ... NO ENGINE ... NO TRANNY...

Today I'll do a slow read of the ads to see if I missed any.

Beyond a bit of earth shaking once in a while, and a bit of wind sometimes,
there's no twisters, none of those big storms like last weeks. Lots of flat
land for flying my rockets too.
