My understanding is that the Genesis is not color free by any means and at
least some people find that they are somewhat fragile in terms of holding
collimation. These are also two quite different scopes, the TV is something
around F5.
color in the Genesis, it depends on whether it's the later SDF or
the original Genesis. The SDF is very nicely color corrected even for
f/5.4 and I'd be surprised if the Orion was better. And color is not
the only way to evaluate optics, though it does get the most press!
At any rate, what I think the poster meant whom you responded to is
that for a couple of hundred bucks more the Genesis is going to have a
much better build quality and is certainly much more versatile
visually and photographically.
