Another French magazine I prefer much more is called "Astronomie", it seems
to be a little more difficult to find. I find they do more practical
objective articles both for practical articles and reviews. They also do
some very good star charts for the monthly things to do.

I agree that Ciel et Espace is very good. I used to buy it in Belgium
(where it was reasonably priced). And I think Astronomy Now is pretty
good as a UK magazine for amateur astronomy information and events.

But if you want a really heavyweight amateur astronomy magazine the
Japanese Tenmon Guide is incredible (but a *very* difficult read).
