They have these things out now called "search engines." You might want to
try one sometime.

I wasn't trying to find out more about him and from the little I've seen
as quotes from him - I see no point in trying. The above was merely an
observation.

Or is it just me!?

You are asking me?

My question there (in more detail): Or is it just me who doesn't seem to
know much/anything about him? I asked because I saw sone poster refer to
being in Britain (I think) but, then again, he could have been an US expat.

If (at it seems) he is such a waste of time, why refer to him at all,
surely it would be better to simply ignore any references to him
altogether?

Hoaxland is very glib, and sounds like he is an authority and a scientist.
In truth, he is neither, but non-technical people can be easily fooled by
his schtick.

Since it appears that he believes that there are car engine parts on Mars
and according to what I've read on a.astronomy, he's not doing that as a
comedy routine, it seems to me that anyone with half a brain would
obviously see through him. Then I remember that there seems to be several
people with less than half a brain who regularly frequent the news group
and so, I withdraw the question.

Or, could it be, you people are bored?

Stealth Hoagbot?

Not this week.
