Default Aurora spotting

Hi Lucy.

While this mornings CME is fast, it's not that fast! It looks like
(and this is still preliminary) that a VERY substantial shock will hit
us around 10 UT tomorrow morning - a trip of only about 24 hours! If
everything works out tomorrow, we should be able to see aurorae quite
a bit further south than the UK - well into Europe at least. I'll post
updates during the day, so keep an eye out.

Clear skies.

Brian

Could anyone be able to tell me if I'd be able to see an aurora tonight as
far south as Birmingham (UK)? I know it's probably a hard thing to predict,
but I don't think I can make it up to Scotland tonight!
