Default Evostar 150, helios / Tal i believe

Rob,

The celestron C6r 150 and the helios150 are the same scope. However
Celestron have brought out a better tripod (though the same mount) in their
advanced series. From what I heard, these scopes are nice for deep sky views
but when it comes to planetary observing, the views are plagued by chromatic
abberation-violet halos.

You might want your old Tal back!

Surley did,

But hey needs must and i NEED a refractor for planetary and starwork.
Seeing as i already had a 4" i guessed i may as well get a 6".
Its a close call between a celestron c6r 150 or the helios150.
Was looking at a vixen like Mr Laurence has but its a bit dear!

Maybe even go for a 80mm high quality one.....

Rob
