No, it's not a joke - NASA TV comes to Sky Digital on the 1st of October.
NASA TV will be shown on Channel 268 at these times:-
Weekdays:
*16:00-17:00 (LIVE ISS coverage)
*20:00-21:00 (Recorded ISS coverage)
Weekends
*17:00-18:30 (Live broadcast) ( local BST times, or GMT after 25th

October ?)

More time will be allocated to NASA TV should it prove popular, so please
spread the word, and also e-mail any comments/suggestions/praise to
David(at)friendlytv.com

If they receive enough encouraging emails, hopefully they'll add more NASA
TV to the channel.

2nd October at 2020 hrs ~ good reception of NASA TV on 'Friendly TV'

For those of us with Free-To-Air and not SKY DIGITAL receivers, the
parameters are 11623 Mhz , Horizontal Polarised , SR 27500 , VPID 2324 ,
APID 2325 , FEC 2/3 : broadcast without encryption via 28 East (Eurobird 1
satellite beaming generally over most of Europe and northernmost Africa ).
( Seven other FTA TV broadcasts also share this frequency MUX ).

A welcome addition to European Ku band receivable channels list !
