I heard another story about that gun. It seems that engineers using it used
to get the chicken out of the freezer the night before and leave it to
defrost in the gun overnight, before firing in the morning. One morning,
when they fired the gun, there was a strange noise and the test results were
a bit unusual. They got the film footage of the test and went through it
one frame at a time. Still pictures showed a very startled cat hanging onto
to the chicken. Poor kitty :-)
