My golly....if you need a Mars position, it's almost exactly 2.5 degrees
due north of the star Delta Aquarii, which is the star which highlights
the Delta Aquarid meteor shower, which are active right now, thru Aug
19th. Mars rises right about 1.5 hours after sunset, almost anywhere on
the globe right now, which will shrink to 0 hours after sunset on its
opposition date of August 28th, at 18 hours UT.
This ain't rocket science.
